Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Salket is a business communications app for iPhone and Android. It is a product of Zootric LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our registered address is 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Zootric LLC. They apply to the Salket apps, the website at salket.com, and every service we provide through them.
By creating an account or using Salket, you agree to these Terms. You also agree to:
- our Acceptable Use Policy, which sets out what you may and may not do with Salket;
- our Emergency Calling Notice, which explains the limits of emergency calls made through Salket.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is not part of this contract, but please read it.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Salket.
2. Words we use
In these Terms and in our other legal pages:
- "We", "us" and "our" mean Zootric LLC.
- "Salket" or "the Service" means the Salket apps, the salket.com website and the services we provide through them.
- "You" means the person using Salket. If you use Salket for a business, "you" also means that business.
- "Account" means a Salket account. It holds phone numbers, credit, a plan and one or more users. A solo account has one user. A team account has several.
- "Owner", "Admin" and "Member" are the roles on an account, described in section 5.
- "Number" means a phone number we provide to your account.
- "Credit" means prepaid credit bought in the app and held in your account's wallet.
- "Plan" means a subscription bought in the app, with a set number of seats and a monthly allowance.
- "Content" means the calls, messages, contacts, files and other material you send, receive or store through Salket.
- "Carrier" means Twilio, the company whose network carries Salket's calls and texts, and its WhatsApp messages once that feature is available. We are the service provider you deal with. Twilio works for us behind the scenes.
3. What Salket does
Salket lets you:
- get virtual phone numbers in many countries;
- make and receive voice calls over the internet (VoIP), including incoming calls delivered by push notification;
- send and receive SMS;
- share an inbox with your team;
- connect other tools through integrations.
WhatsApp is coming later and is not available at launch. When it is, you will be able to send and receive WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta. We will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy before that feature is available.
We may later offer an AI receptionist. If we do, and you turn it on, call audio and transcripts may be processed by AI providers to answer calls for you. We will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy before that feature is available.
Salket is not a replacement for a mobile or landline phone service. Emergency calling through Salket has important limits. Read the Emergency Calling Notice before you rely on Salket for anything urgent.
4. Who can use Salket
You must be at least 18 years old to use Salket.
If you use Salket for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that business. The business is then bound by them.
You may not use Salket if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States or the country where you live, or if we have previously closed your account for breaking these Terms.
5. Accounts, teams and roles
Your login. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your login details secret. Use a device lock. You are responsible for everything that happens under your login. Tell us straight away at support@salket.com if you think someone else has used it.
Roles. Each account has one Owner.
- The Owner controls the account, its billing, its numbers and its members. Only the Owner can invite or appoint Admins.
- Admins help run the account. They can invite Members.
- Members use the numbers and inbox they are given access to.
Team responsibility. If you are an Owner, you are responsible for the people you and your Admins invite, and for what they do with the account. Everyone on a team account can see the shared inbox and records they have access to. Only invite people you trust with that information.
Leaving a team. If a Member or Admin leaves, the calls and messages they handled stay with the team account. They belong to the account, not to the individual.
Changing owner. An Owner who wants to delete their login must first transfer ownership or remove the other members. See Delete your account.
6. Billing and in-app purchases
Where you pay. You can only buy Salket in the app, through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not take card payments ourselves. Card numbers never reach us.
What you can buy.
- Plans are subscriptions. Each Plan includes a set number of seats and a monthly allowance. The app shows what a Plan includes, and how its allowance works, before you buy.
- Credit is prepaid. You use it to pay for calls, messages, numbers and other usage beyond your Plan.
Prices. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. They can differ by country. We may change prices. We will give you notice before a price change applies to you, and a new price for a subscription takes effect from your next renewal, in line with Apple's and Google's rules.
Subscriptions renew. A Plan renews automatically until you cancel it. You cancel in your Apple or Google account settings, not in Salket. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period.
Credit never expires. Credit stays in your wallet until you use it. The exceptions are set out in this section and in sections 15 and 16.
No bills after the fact. We never bill you later for usage. Calls and messages stop when your balance reaches zero. A call in progress can be cut off when your credit runs out. Keep enough credit for the calls you need to make.
Refunds. Apple and Google handle refunds under their own refund policies. Ask them, not us. If a purchase is refunded, we remove the matching Credit or Plan from your account. If that leaves your wallet below zero, you must bring it back to zero before you can make further paid calls or send further paid messages.
Taxes. Prices include or exclude taxes as Apple or Google show at checkout.
Your statutory rights. Apple and Google process your purchase. Their terms govern payment, cancellation and refunds, including any right to cancel you have under local consumer law. Nothing in these Terms takes away those rights.
7. Phone numbers
Numbers are leased, not owned. We lease each Number to you while your account is active and paid for. You do not own it, and you cannot sell or transfer it.
Release. A Number is released when your account closes or when payment for it lapses. Once released, it may be given to someone else. We cannot recover a released Number.
No porting at launch. At launch, you cannot move (port) an existing number into Salket, or move a Salket Number to another provider.
Regulatory checks. Each country has its own rules for phone numbers. To get or keep a Number, you may have to give us:
- identity documents;
- business documents;
- a business or home address.
We pass these to Twilio and to national regulators so they can check them. If you do not provide what a country requires, or the check fails, we cannot give you that Number, or we may have to withdraw it.
US business texting. Business texting to US numbers requires A2P 10DLC registration. This registers your business and your messaging use with US carriers. Until registration is approved, US texts may be blocked or filtered.
Changes we must make. A regulator or carrier may require us to change, suspend or reclaim a Number. If that happens, we will tell you as soon as we can.
8. Emergency calls
Emergency calling through Salket is limited. It depends on power, an internet connection and the app. It is not available in every country. For US, Canadian and UK numbers, you must register an accurate emergency address. You must accept the Emergency Calling Notice in the app before you can make outbound calls.
Keep a mobile or landline phone available for emergencies.
9. Using Salket properly
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. It includes Twilio's Acceptable Use Policy and Meta's WhatsApp Business and Commerce policies, which bind you too.
You are responsible for:
- your Content, and for having the right to send it;
- getting any consent the law requires before you call, text or message people, including for marketing;
- getting any consent the law requires before you record a call;
- following the laws that apply to your calls and messages in every country you call or message.
10. Your Content
You keep ownership of your Content.
You give us permission to store, copy, transmit and display your Content only as needed to run Salket for you. For example, we store messages so your inbox can show them, and we pass calls and messages to Twilio and Meta so they can be delivered. This permission ends when your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
We do not use your Content to advertise to you or to anyone else.
11. Our app and your licence
We own Salket, its software, its design and its name. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Salket app on devices you own or control, for as long as you have an account and follow these Terms.
You must not:
- copy, modify or sell the app;
- reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
- get around any security, usage limit or verification step;
- use Salket to build a competing product.
If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
12. Third-party services
Salket relies on other companies, including:
- Twilio, our carrier, for numbers, calls, SMS, WhatsApp transport and regulatory checks;
- Meta, which runs WhatsApp. To use WhatsApp in Salket, you must also accept Meta's terms. Meta can restrict or suspend WhatsApp access independently of us;
- Apple and Google, which run the app stores, take payment and deliver push notifications;
- the providers of any integration you choose to connect.
Their own terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for services we do not control. If one of them changes or withdraws something Salket depends on, we may have to change or withdraw that part of Salket.
13. Availability
We work to keep Salket running, but we do not guarantee any level of uptime. Salket depends on the internet, your device, your mobile data or Wi-Fi, the app stores, Twilio, Meta and other providers. Calls may drop, messages may be delayed, and incoming calls may not ring if push notifications are blocked or your device is offline.
We may pause Salket for maintenance or to deal with security or fraud. We may change features over time.
Fraud controls. To protect you and us from toll fraud, we use controls such as spending velocity limits and country permissions. These can block calls or messages to high-risk destinations. If a control blocks something you need, contact support@salket.com.
14. Disclaimers
Salket is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these Terms. We do not promise that Salket will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a purpose we have not agreed in writing.
This section does not affect any guarantee or right that the law says cannot be excluded. That includes your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK, the EU and Australia (see section 18).
15. Suspension and termination
You can leave at any time. You can delete your account in the app or by email. See Delete your account. Cancel any Plan in your Apple or Google settings so it does not renew.
We can suspend or close your account, a Number or a sub-account (the account we set up with our carrier for you), immediately and without notice, if:
- you break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a security risk;
- a regulator, carrier, Meta, Apple, Google or a court requires it;
- you do not complete a required identity or regulatory check;
- your wallet is below zero and you do not bring it back to zero.
Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why.
Closing for other reasons. We may also stop offering Salket, or part of it, for reasons that are not your fault. If so, we will give you at least 30 days' notice where we can.
What happens when an account closes.
- Your Numbers are released and cannot be recovered.
- Unused Credit is forfeited, unless the law requires otherwise. Refunds of store purchases follow Apple's or Google's policies.
- Credit gained through fraud or abuse is forfeited in every case.
- We keep financial records, and some other records, for the periods set out in our Privacy Policy.
Sections 6 (as it applies to negative balances), 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20 and 22 survive after your account closes.
16. Limits on our liability
What we are not liable for. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data;
- indirect or consequential loss;
- losses caused by things outside our reasonable control, including outages at Twilio, Meta, Apple, Google, your internet provider or power supply;
- losses caused by failed or misrouted emergency calls where the cause is one described in the Emergency Calling Notice, such as a missing or out-of-date emergency address, a power cut or a lost internet connection.
Our maximum liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims about Salket is limited to the amount you paid for Salket in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
What we never limit. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when you started using Salket. You keep all your statutory rights, including your rights about digital content and services that are faulty or not as described. The limits above apply to you only as far as your local law permits.
If you are a consumer in Australia, you have guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for breach of a guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
17. Indemnity (business users)
This section applies only if you use Salket for a business. It does not apply to consumers.
You will defend and compensate us, our owners and our staff against claims, fines, penalties and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties, regulators or carriers that arise from:
- your Content;
- your calls and messages, including marketing, robocalls or recordings made without required consent;
- your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- your breach of any law, including telemarketing, anti-spam, privacy and call-recording laws;
- the actions of anyone you or your Admins invite to your account.
We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you help decide how it is handled.
18. Your rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the law of the country where you live that no contract can take away. That includes consumers in the UK, the EU and Australia. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute about these Terms or Salket will be heard by the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
Consumers in the UK and EU keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where they live. They may also bring a claim in the courts of that country. Consumers in Australia keep their rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Before going to court, please email legal@salket.com. Most problems can be fixed quickly by talking to us.
20. App store terms
Android. If you got Salket from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Google is not a party to these Terms.
iPhone. If you got Salket from the Apple App Store, these extra terms apply. If they conflict with anything else in these Terms, they win.
- Parties. These Terms are between you and Zootric LLC only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Salket app and its content.
- Scope of licence. Your licence to use the app is limited to use on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Family members and others linked to your Apple account may use the app through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where Apple allows.
- Maintenance and support. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support of the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Contact support@salket.com.
- Warranty. We are responsible for any product warranty, whether express or implied by law, that is not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent these Terms do not exclude them.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it. These include product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the app, or your possession or use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo or that the US Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Zootric LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, or support@salket.com.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any third-party agreement that applies when you use the app. For example, using Salket over mobile data must not breach your mobile data agreement.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
21. Export controls and sanctions
Salket is subject to US export control and sanctions laws. You must not use Salket in, or to call or message people in, a country or region under comprehensive US sanctions, where that would break those laws. You must not use Salket if you are on a US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties, or are owned or controlled by someone who is. You must also follow any export and sanctions laws that apply to you where you live.
22. General
Notices to you. We send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the app. Keep your email address up to date.
Notices to us. Send legal notices to legal@salket.com and to Zootric LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For a material change, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. A change needed sooner to comply with the law or to stop fraud or a security threat may take effect sooner, and we will tell you when it does. If you do not agree with a change, stop using Salket and delete your account before it takes effect. If you keep using Salket after that, the new Terms apply.
Transfer. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over Salket, as long as your rights are not reduced.
Whole agreement. These Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Emergency Calling Notice are the whole agreement between you and us about Salket.
Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Language. If we translate these Terms, the English version controls, unless your local law says otherwise.
